So I'm finally not broken. It took forever, they talked about surgery, decided against it. Which looking back my hand probably would have healed faster. It took about 8 weeks before I took the splint off, and another couple 'taking it easy'. My final xrays the doctor still said it should be healed by now, but you can still see the definate break mark. Oh sure it was healed, it wasn't moving around any more, and the bones were melding (or knitting or what ever bones do) But it should have been like that on week 6, not week 10.

and now, the way the splint was it had imobilized half my hand, now my ring and pinkie finger hardly bends, and hardly straightens. They were stuck at a slight curve. (now they bend/straighen much better...but I still can't straighten them 100%, or make a fist)

So the moral of the story... don't break anything.

Oh a good note I can draw again, and ride horses, which is a big thing for me. I can also use the mouse properly and play silly games. AND.. I've got my internet back, which is also a good thing.
